Dolphin Express uses its own professional movers to pack and load your shipment, ensuring that they are safely packed during their overseas journey. Nevertheless, it is recommended to purchase a separate marine insurance to cover your belongings.
Dolphin will provide you with the insurance form, on which you will need to list the items you wish to insure. The cost of the all-risks insurance is be 2.5% of the total declared value, with a $300 deductible.
How does the deductible work?
The deductible means that if you need to make a claim with the insurance company, the first $300 will be deducted from the total claim amount. For instance, on a claim of $750, the most that could be reimbursed is $450 ($750 - $300 = $450).
